What delivery methods lend themselves well to “remote” work?
Even if you have to move away from a traditional classroom-led event, you still have two great CE delivery options available.
If you prefer to stick with the live, interactive classroom vibe, Webinar CE is the way to go. This delivery method functions similar to a live event as it’s lead by an instructor and attendees have the ability to interact and ask questions as needed.
Alternately, online CE delivery is an excellent option for busy advisors who prefer having the flexibility to complete their CE requirements on their own time.
What would it take to transition to an online CE program?
Transitioning your program online is a simple process. To get started, we will work with you to establish your goals in terms of what course(s) you would like to deliver and what states/designation credits you plan to offer. From there, we can provide you with a time/cost estimate for your firm.
Are the state requirements different for webinar CE?
Similar to classroom continuing education, many of the states have the same requirements regarding affidavits, attendance tracking and credit value. One main difference in Webinar CE, however, is that attendees are asked to answer three polling questions throughout the presentation to confirm their engagement. Quest CE has experience complying with the state requirements and can provide additional guidance, as needed.
Would I have to refile my course content?
When switching from a classroom to a webinar event, you may need to refile courses based on the state credit that is being offered. However, there are several states that do not require refiling in this situation, such as Illinois, Colorado, and New York, to name a few. Do I need webinar technology to get started?
To host a successful webinar event, you will need to have the proper technology in place. If your firm already uses webinar technology, great!
