Quest CE “Rolls up its Sleeves” at Hunger Task Force Farm

MILWAUKEE, WI – June 4, 2015 – As part of its ongoing effort to support local community outreach programs, Quest CE, premier provider of insurance continuing education and FINRA Firm Element training, is proud to announce that it will once again team up with the non-profit organization, Hunger Task Force, to help fight local hunger in the southeastern Wisconsin region. Quest CE has supported the Hunger Task Force and its mission for the past four consecutive years.

In both June and August, Quest CE employees will roll up their sleeves to help plant and harvest fresh produce to be delivered free of charge to local community food pantries and meal programs. The Hunger Task Force farm, which operates on over 208 acres of land, is the only urban farm in Wisconsin that donates all of its harvest to support local hunger relief. It is estimated that Quest CE employees will spend a total of 100 paid volunteer hours at the farm this year.

“As the Quest CE team continues to grow, so do our number of volunteers at these local outreach events,” said Quest CE President and CEO, Linda Mieth Krenke. “It’s so rewarding to see our employees donating their time and making an impact in our community. Activities like this provide great representation of Quest CE’s corporate culture.”

The summer-long event is part of the company’s “Quest CE Cares” program, where employees are encouraged to step away from their desks to volunteer a day of service in the local community. Quest CE also hosts fund match programs for employees who would rather provide monetary donations to local non-for-profit charities, such as the American Heart Association.
